ACE'S COOL ROOM
ACE’s Cool Room is a miniature colocation facility that lets existing customers supplement their in-house render farm with additional, remotely accessible render systems — no shipping required!
The Cool Room is a 24/7 air-conditioned space that has been divided into three partitions, housing six racks in total. Three 1-Gigabit internet lines are available for connection.
A firewall — which you own and are responsible for operating — sits between that internet line and the systems you rent. All networking is the customer’s responsibility, ensuring your internal network is configured exactly to your specifications. ACE’s team handles racking and power connections only.
Each Cool Room partition holds a maximum of two racks and can be outfitted with any combination of Render Nodes, RAID Servers, Multi-GPU Systems, and Workstations, as listed on our website.
GETTING STARTED
To qualify for one of the three partitions in the Cool Room, a rental must have a minimum value of $10,000 per month; one month being the minimum rental period per order. Additional rental machines may be added to the same partition for the same refundable set-up fee of $1,000 provided the $10,000 threshold is maintained.
WHAT IT COSTS
- $1,000 initial set-up fee per partition — fully refundable after 90 days of continuous use
- $1,500/month per partition for rack space and A/C
- $200/month for a shared 1-Gigabit AT&T internet line, including five static IP addresses
- Power metered and billed separately
